  1. I would prefer Sky over Windows Live Messenger HOWEVER I agree that this merge should be done gradually or Skype will lose clients due to poor quality.

Do you use Dropbox, Evernote, or both? Ever wondered why they aren’t integrated into one convenient app? Well wonder no more! Coming soon….from FilesMobile. We love to hear ideas & suggestions for this new app. Go Here to offer your idea http://filesmobile.com/requests/

  2. Its not just call quality, even the messaging/chat delivery is very bad now. It takes ages to deliver a msg on skype now.

  3. Wow! Didn’t know this. I will remove Skype from my computer. Anything Microsoft touches turns to crap. They have proven this over and over again.

  4. I have travelled around the world in the last 8 years for work and have been a major user of skype in different platforms, under different internet conditions. It is crystal clear that quality of skype has dropped significantly for voice and video conf. This year I migrated to Viber for voice but still trying to find an alternative for video conf. Skype under Microsoft is dead. Every piece of internet-related apps/service that I have used evolves year over year, improving in a speed that scares me. Skype is the only major one I used that walked backwards in the last years. If I were leading that company I would resign.
