  2. Having worked in IR for many years, there is a level of respect that a company can show investors without changing their business model or corporate personality. Remember, even if he didn’t want Facebook to go public, they are and a bit or mutual respect isn’t a sign of weakness. He’s playing in their sandbox now and should have recognized that or at least been advised to suck it up for a few days. Also, think back to photos of Jobs when he was asking for money or building Apple in its early days (or NExT) he was often seen wearing a bow tie or suit and tie. The black shirt came much later when he had established himself and Apple to the public – including investors. Mark hasn’t done that yet.
