Ilya Zhitomirskiy, one of the co-founders of Diaspora, an open source social networking platform established to take on Facebook has passed away at the tender age of 22 21, reports Techcrunch. No further details were available. I am speechless. I met Ilya on a couple of occasions and am having a tough time coming to grips with the news. Our hearts and prayers go to his family, friends and the Diaspora community.
