A great watch popup shop in San Francisco:

Starting May 25th, HODINKEE will be teaming up with our friends at Taylor Stitch to host our second pop up shop in the great city by the bay. That Friday through Sunday you can swing into Taylor Stitch’s shop in San Francisco’s Mission district, where you’ll find an appropriate selection of fine vintage watches from the likes of Rolex, Omega, Breitling and JLC. A small modern selection will be included as well, from d.m.h. to Xetum. What’s more, both Ben and Blake will be present to answer any questions or just engage in some watch talk.

Hodinkee launches online watch accessory store

Ben Clymer, who is the editor and founder of watch blog, Hodinkee has become a good friend over the years. We often swap emails about watches we obsesses about and what not. Last week when we met for a coffee in New York, he mentioned that he was going to launch an e-commerce store selling straps, pouches and other watch accessories. Well,he launched the store yesterday and as expected it has good quality and tasteful stuff. All the goods are handmade in Tuscany, which explains why they are a little pricey, but not bank breakers, by any means. I am going to order a leather pouch just to carry an extra watch.
