Chasing Spectrum

Katie has been doing a great job of chasing down the details of the upcoming advanced wireless spectrum auction related information. She found the information on Paul Allen’s plans, and now she is writing about Current Communications, which is making a bid as well. Current received funding from Google and Earthlink. William Berkman is also part of the POP Wireless bid. Funny, I recall him from his Teligent days, and how I have heard that he is not all that high on wireless. Still, the man has connections with Craig McCaw and Rupert Murdoch. I wonder where it will all lead to. We will try and blog the auctions on August 9.
