It would be cool if the inside of the washer had a camera so you could watch your clothes wash in real-time from your smartphone. By “cool” I mean “totally unnecessary”.

So if the following few hours are hot and sunny, it should skip the drying cycle.
Or it can track the number of washes and add automatically add detergent to your shopping list

Person sitting next to me says, we’ll it would be great to be able to start the dryer from bed in the morning so by the time you ate and showered you be able to put on fresh-from-the-dryer jeans.
