    There really is no need to pay for Google Reader, even if they offered the chance to do so. Feed Fiend (available at http://feedfiend.com) has a directory with a one-click subscribe tool that makes it easy to find new content. It will have a feed import tool very soon to get your feeds from Google Reader. Go try it out.

    How about $12/year using Newsblur? Needs some UI work, but it might be the solution.

    How about support it via ad’s and make far more usage from me than $100-$300 bucks a year in advertising…
