What will Lahiri do? In India, he used to copy western tunes. Maybe he would do the exact opposite for the New York market.

Indian music director and playback singer Bappi Lahiri is releasing a lounge music album that features songs by international artistes, his daughter and him.

“This is truly world music. My aim is the Grammy,” said the veteran of 25 years, 500 films and 4,000 songs.

Grammy in what? Cut-and-paste is not a category for which you can win an award.
