bq. Human is an autobiographical album. It’s about growing up and all the things that happened to you and the experiences that you had. In that respect, it’s been quite difficult because there was a lot of catharsis involved in that (process), a lot of thinking and reflections. It was quite a weird experience getting through all that but at the same it was also really interesting because I recognized that I was doing this because I and a lot of people felt powerless given what was going on with the politicisation of people.”

bq. Human is a stronger album when people sit with it and listen to it. Over time, people will actually hear that. In a way, it’s even more immediate than Beyond Skin but Beyond Skin for some reason just caught on and I actually don’t know why that is ? I wasn’t thinking more or less commercially than I ever have to … I was just making music.
