bq. A cellphone company in India is outfitting a fleet of 200 rickshaws in the city of Jaipur with handsets so they can double as mobile payphones. Each rickshaw is set up with a cellphone, a battery, a billing machine, and a printer and the drivers receive a commission of 20% for each call made. The same company says they’re also planning to equip a few rickshaws with wirelessly connected laptops, too. Read [Via SmartMobs]… [Gizmodo]
