karmadownload.com, probably the best UK site for mp3 downloads on the web has launched a BrasianBeats section. It’s front and center as one of the four top-level music categories on the site’s main menu along with Dance, Rock/Alternative and Urban. There’s also a direct URL at: http://www.brasianbeats.com

North American and other non-British artists won’t be too crazy about the “BrasianBeats” tag, but I suppose it’s fair given the popularity of the Bobby and Nihal featured producers whose music is offered on the site. Oddly three of the four subcategories, Desi, Fusion and Urban Asian are dominated by bhangra releases. It is nice to see Fusing Naked Beats appearing as a featured label. Sadly tablatronic is represented only by Nitin’s All Mixed Up.
