The BBC World Music Awards were announced recently and some of our favorite artists are nominated in a few categories.

Cheb i Sabbah, Mercan Dede and M.I.A are nominated in the Club Global category. Nitin Sawhney in the Culture Crossing category and Susheela Raman has been nominated in the Asia / Pacific category.
