Paul Kedrosky responds to a report that tries to look into the concept of bloggers breaking news. “How are we to take seriously an industry that continues to ignore the basics of sampling?,” he writes. I agree. Since he is including me as the ones who do break news, I would like to add – it is hard. Take for example the news of Newroo being snapped up by Fox. Well, I have been sitting on it, trying to get some kind of confirmation and/or denial from all parties involved. They didn’t and I tried my best, and well party is over. So as I said, breaking news – bit of a crapshoot, and lots of calling and pissing people off. Like right now…. I am freaking mad that I had the damn thing …… breathe, exhale, breathe….
