There are no secrets in Silicon Valley. I was going to wait till next week about Liz Gannes joining us from Red Herring. But the word got out already, thanks to some wags. Its funny how all these things happen on days when my stress level is at extreme, or we have a big event: like our big relaunch party, we are hosting with Sharpcast.

Katie introduced me to Liz, and after just a few conversations, it was pretty obvious that she was such a great fit for us at GigaOM. Now what she will be doing? I am going to let her talk about it, when she starts next week. By the way, Nick, GigaGannes is much better than GigaLiz.
