Good to go, a line that is often used by Niall Kennedy is now being featured in four ad campaigns:
1. Fandango
2.Nutri-Grain
3. Taco Bell and
4. Sports Beans.
David Nottoli, a veteran ad-man writes on his blog… “a one-dimensional approach to creating communications based solely on an “insight” gleaned exclusively from consumer research reports.” Could not agree more, and thanks to him, I understand why we keep seeing the same subliminal messages and imagery in ads again and again.
Campbell’s “Soup at Hand” line also uses the “good to go” slogan, on the cans. And, the US Marine Corps has a promotional video with the same name.
I noticed how popular this slogan is becoming, too. I’m surprised it wasn’t trademarked by one of the big players… unless it’s too obvious to trademark.
