WebWorkerDaily has been a labor of love – my love and labor of others, growing slowly and steadily, find a lot of passionate readers. The community has become its biggest asset. It is so gratifying to hear from absolute strangers who proclaim their love for the site.
Despite all the progress, WWD has been a bit of a hidden jewel. Up until this last week, when Anne’s story, 10 New Ways to Make Money Online. I think this was the breakout day for the site that went live on Labor Day 2006.
It was a monster hit – on the front page of WordPress.com, Digg, Del.icio.us and lots of comments. As a result, WWD set a new one day record, surpassing even GigaOM’s best day ever.
I hope some of these new users will come back, become regular readers and add new voices to the site. WWD incidentally has hit the 5000-RSS subscriber mark!
Congrats Om. WWD is a daily read for me and they always have great content. Web workers are the future so keep up the good work.
I’d be an even bigger fan of WWD if it offered working full feeds.

We have been begging WordPress.com folks to do something about this, but they are so not feeling our pain – for now. Much as I would like to, it is totally out of my hands. I will keep trying.
Thanks for the update Om, if it’s something you’re trying to fix then it’s a lot easier to live with. Feed issues aside, I am and continue to be a big WWD fan, keep up the awesome work!
