It was almost 17 months ago I first met Jared Kim. Matt Mullenweg of WordPress fame brought him along to my San Francisco apartment, and we had a geekout. It was also the first time I met Joyce, who is now the co-host of The GigaOM Show.
Thanks to some strange twist of fate, the three of us ended up being funded by the same VC folks – True Ventures. Jared is the latest – his online gaming venture WeGame just closed seed financing from True and Naval Ravikant.
I guess we all be hanging out in the True offices in San Francisco soon. I am not sure Matt can replicate that pose. Jared, good luck buddy with your new venture.
