Michael Musto, a gossip columnist for The Village Voice in an interview with The New York Times remarked:

“Now I am more positive than negative. I interview people I like. Eventually I had to become a little more at peace, become more secure about myself without screaming to be noticed.”

That comment essentially captures my views on work and my approach to work and writing since my brush with mortality about two years ago.
