Looks like Apple finally sliced the rip-off game, Cut the birds, at its knees. The game is out of the Apple App store. I wrote about the game earlier this year pointing out that is was a mash-up of Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja

I dont love copycats and IP thieves, that’s for sure.
But I like even less that Apple has the power to arbitrarily determine what is theft and what is well, the sincerest form of flattery.
Boy meets girl. Boy loses girl. Boy gets girl back again. — been the plot of thousands and thousands of movies and tv shows and books. But will apple delete “Pretty Woman” from iTunes movie store because that movie ripped off the plot from say, Chaplin’s “City Lights”?
let the market decide. and rovio can litigate if they think they should.
