It has been almost six months since I actually tuned into any of my music in the iTunes. However, this morning I thought it might actually be a good idea to turn on the iTunes Match, the new service from Apple. Of course, it wasn’t working – typical Apple cloud service behavior.
My big music system is busted, thanks to a friend who came and fiddled with it. I don’t want to spend money on an expensive system and as a result have been using the Sonos S3for playing music. I love this tiny Sonos device with big sound. But man there is no love lost between their devices and the Apple’s Time Capsule, the network device that doubles as a music library and WiFi hot spot for me. I have tried my very best to make those two work and somehow Sonos fails to pick up the network drive.
As a result I am now listening to Spotify all the time, even though Spotify music encoding leaves a lot to be desired. Are you experiencing similar issues and does anyone have a quick fix?
