When reading this press release from Samsung announcing the five winners in its nationwide Solve for Tomorrow contest for U.S. public school students., I saw something that caught my eye:
All five winners will be honored in a special Washington, D.C. ceremony in April with John Legend, the Grammy Award-winning recording artist and education advocate.
Legend (who does a lot of charitable work and is involved with many admirable causes) used to serenade the attendees of Apple’s events back in the day. Legend also performed at Apple Store in Soho in New York. HE seemed to be tight with the Apple crew and given the history between Samsung and Apple, I am just wondering when he switched sides?
Though it happens a lot, I do believe that artists should not be forced or expected to choose camps…
