Venky Harinarayan and Anand Rajaraman are leaving Walmart Labs, hopefully to do something new, fun and forward looking. But for now they are kicking back. They had sold their most recent startup Kosmix to Walmart in September 2011 and it was renamed Walmart Labs. I have known them since the last Internet boom. We met when I started working on a story on Junglee, a recommendation service that was acquired by Amazon. They (along with another ex-Junglee, Rakesh Mathur) are angel investors in my company and probably two guys who make me aware of amazing new technologies every time I meet them. Good luck guys. Enjoy the time off before coming back to startup land.
