As a former employee, I find generalizations like that, about a company that size, as silly. Microsoft is not any one thing.
I have been through the ‘acquired by a large company’ process/experience twice now, and both times I got see just how difficult it is for these large companies to innovate and create new things. Modern web services and software are slowly passing Microsoft by, and they can’t seem to prevent it. In mobile, it actually blew past them. It’s very interesting to see. Thanks for the quote!
