As a wise man once said, don’t speak unless you have something to say. I took that advise to heart and restricted what I said – whether it was through my writings or via the spoken word. However, this week I broke my vow, made an appearance on two podcasts, and let loose.

  • GigaOM Commutist – which is a brand new podcast by my colleagues Chris Albrecht & Erica Ogg. They talk to me and Kevin Fitchard about the iPhone5, why I didn’t stay up last night to order one and of course, what it means for LTE. It is an fun second episode. Commutist  features our edit team members who will discuss big stories of the week. We launched it last week and it is now available via the iTunes store.
  • Earlier this week, I was asked by none other than John Gruber to appear on his TalkShow podcast. Being a lifelong listener of his podcast and a reader of DaringFireball, it was too good an opportunity to pass-up. It is a long podcast and we discuss everything from the launch of iPhone 5, Nokia and Amazon launches, to my obsession with watches. Given the response on Twitter, it is easy to see how many people listen to John’s TalkShow. Check out the episode title, Big in Indonesia. (Warning: it is long:  an hour and 37 minutes and is a 45 Mb download.
