I am heading to Amsterdam this week for our Structure Europe conference and super excited to host our first European event. And following Amsterdam, I am taking a brief trip to Dublin, which has been on my bucket list of places to visit.
Of course, every time I travel overseas, the biggest part of my travel expense is the phone bill. Actually it is more like my data bill. The roaming data is so damn expensive and I come back facing a big bill, despite signing up for the biggest bucket on offer by Verizon or AT&T. In addition to the iPhone 5, I am thinking about carrying my iPad 3, but not sure if I should. I do have a Verizon version of iPad 3.
I am looking to spend about six days in that lovely city. I know wifi is an option but I am not sure about free WiFi options in Amsterdam. I am just trying to wonder if you have any suggestions on how to best handle my visit to Amsterdam.
You could use the following Google map to find free WiFi spots in Amsterdam: http://www.wifi-amsterdam.nl/info/gratis_wifi_internet.html
Although in Dutch, the table below the map lists the following in order:
Name, Address, Zip Code, Charge (Gratis means ‘Free’), Use of Electricity, Tested Yes (Ja) or No (Nee)
