Considering that my desktop is against a wall, I don’t really care how thin it is, so long as it is less than 2 inches thick. I care about thinness in fashion models and laptops. For desktops, I want openness, an SD card reader, a DVD player and a big selection of new and old games I don’t have to download.
So, no thanks. I like the laptop though.

Why are people so excited about the new thin iMac? There’s no additional space utility unless you stand perpendicular to the screen. Pretty? Yes. Space saving? Not compared to the previous generation… All the other features are great, but the thinness isn’t compelling.
