I am over laptops and the posture that comes with them. I am coding a lot less, so I use my computers a lot less. I still want to simplify even further and carry just one device. So, I want to try the iPad Mini with cellular antenna as my only device and as a phone replacement, and use Skype and/or Google Voice instead. [via GigaOM]

Not sure Google voice would work.
This is what my wife does with her older iPad. A mini would probably be a better fit for her. She also has a MacBook Pro, but uses the iPad 90% of the time. She doesn’t use a cellphone … the iPad with Skype, Messages and Facetime covers most of her needs….
I wish I was rich like David Karp so I could code less.
