As many of you know, I have recently acquired a Sony RX-1 in an attempt to expand my creative energies from just writing. It is part of an effort to learn new things as I get older. But before that I was (and I guess I am still am) an iPhoneographer. My friendSteve emailed a link to video and it reminded me that if you have the creative vision, it doesn’t matter how basic your tools are. In this video, Portland, Oregon-based photographer Kevin Russ talks about his adventures around the American West and how he took photos with his iPhone. Here is a link to his Flickr feed and to his iPhone photos. Please watch this video and go take some photos.

OM Kevin is 29! He proves that vision is more important than technology ( read camera). Good luck with the RX-1. A real sold camera.
