Holi is the festival of colors and celebrated with much gusto in India. Of course there is a religious story behind the festival. It is the start of spring. It is the festival which celebrates new harvests. I think of it as letting go of the drab winter and of new beginnings. I wish you all a very happy and colorful Holi and a great new beginning.

Of course, I couldn’t do this without a photo. And given my love for socks and how I use them to express myself, it made perfect perfect to use photos from a  Happy Socks press kit. The photos are promoting socks made for the occasion of Holi by Manish Arora, an Indian designer.
