Many of you took time from your busy day to send me birthday wishes and I want to say, thanks. It made my day special and memorable. One of the most memorable messages came from my friend Steve, whose every single email is packed with knowledge and learnings. With his permission, I share a snipped from his birthday wishes: 

The neat coincidence about 47 is it is your silver (atomic number) and atomic mass of titanium (rounding down to the integer.) I’m a big fan of silver and titanium ..  if you round the atomic mass of titanium up you can carry it over to next year  (cadmium has the atomic number 48.)

Being a chemistry major, I really got a kick out of Steve correlating my birthday year with elements.
