that’s one of the best ads by google in a while. The one about gmail with the father and daughter is a close second.

Bittersweet. Bitter, because my cynical assumption after the first few scenes was that the end of the ad would be the arrival of a big box of the sweets–a plug for google-enhanced successful commerce. Sweet because I was wrong.

We have become too cynical as people — and for a reason. Everyone wants to sell something. Sometimes, an ad doesn’t have to sell us what it is selling.
They really should have called it: “Partition Love”
