The full moon over the bay prompted me to head out to the water’s edge and take a few photos. Mere three of over 100 pictures were worth sharing. I am just not very good at taking late night photos, but I am going to keep trying till I get good at it. These were taken with my Sony RX-1 camera.
Your photos are solid as usual.
Only advice I ever give for night photos is use a tripod, experiment with small apertures and longer and longer exposures. Interesting results, often.
BITD, I’d use a cable release and one Olympus I had used a remote. No shaking the camera opening and closing the shutter for exposures even 30 seconds long.

Actually they are quite good as they capture the tranquility in contrast to the active urban surroundings.

Quite impressive ! I wish I succeed in shooting night pictures as good as these some day, especially the first one — did you shoot it as natively black and white or do a colour adjustment afterwards ? The second one makes me feel so small in our huge world…
