Today is Diwali. For the first time in over two decades I am actually aware of the day before the Festival of Lights actually starts with a gusto. It is not because I didn’t want to remember, but it was more like I was too busy to remember. As an immigrant you have a singular vision. As a single immigrant that vision is even more singular. As a single immigrant founder your vision is narrower. You forget about the holidays. You forget about the festivals and often you forget about the little things in life that actually are worth doing and remembering. I did that for a very long time. I won’t any more – perhaps I have finally seen the light. Happy Diwali, everyone!
