Sixteen years ago my Forbes.com colleague Adam Penenberg discovered that The New Republic writer Stephen Glass was nothing but a fabulist. His fabrications and the unmasking of his deceit was turned into a film, The Shattered Glass. A key character in that movie was Hanna Rosin (played by Chloe Sevigny) who was a close friend of Glass. Fast forward to today, she went back to interview her onetime bestie, Glass and shared her side of the story. It is a great read — especially if you are a media nerd. Update: Here is the original story that started it all from Forbes archives.
