Researchers at Cornell University have developed a new 3-atom thick semiconductor film based on molybdenum disulfide and have been able to develop a 4-inch wafer. It works with other materials. This could potentially lead to new kinds of electronics and opto-electronics and change our interactions with machines in the future. #
