Having retired from technology journalism and never having to cover the CES trade show will always remain my singular most cherished professional victory. It is as pointless (from a news perspective) today as it was back in the day.  The show is off to a slow start — hello trade wars — and is not a showcase of wow. And that’s good news for Apple, Amazon, and Google, who are dominating the narrative. Interesting take from old friend Andy Abramson.
