Telescope Peak, Death Valley National Park

IO 50. Focal Length: 85mm. Aperture: f/4.0. Shutterspeed 1/800th of a second. Made with Leica SL.

I was fascinated by the Telescope Peak when I visited the Death Valley National Park earlier this year. This view is from the Panamint Valley. I have so many photos of this peak. It is about 3000 feet, and even in late February it had snow and added a great contrast to the dry and arid landscape of the Death Valley. I hope soon I will have enough stamina to do the 7-mile hike to the peak. It is part of the backdrop of many of my photos and I will make sure to link to this post. Link to the NPS website.
