Ma.tt’s the maestro!

Remote is his style, from café to shore,
Global miles, open doors galore.
In the web's grand play, he's the king of the code,
In the WordPress way, where stories are told.

From blogs to e-stores, his platform sings,
A digital floor, for all kinds of things.
Matt's journey's a beat, wisdom so neat,
In the open-source street, he can't be beat.

Where the cool breezes play,
Mullenweg's style, it's the Automattic way.
Code and style, in a perfect blend,
Mullenweg's smile, a trendsetting trend.

So here's to Ma.tt, in the tech parade,
In Lululemon and plaid, he's never dismayed.
In the world of the web, he's the guiding light,
In every WordPress thread, a visionary sight.

Matt Mullenweg, co-founder of WordPress, and one of my dearest friends, wanted a blog post for his 40th birthday. So I wrote something that is not a typical blog post. Happy 40th!
