Well there is that whole debate about, most of the Broadbandits worked at McKinsey, went to Harvard Business School, and/or turned a blind eye to corporate malfeasance. Those innuendoes might actually be true. Yesterday I posted on NthOctave about a good professor from HBS. David Yoffie was bashing Apple, without much insights really. Anyway I have now been told that he sits on the board of directors of Intel Corp. Whoa Yoffie! Funny HBS Working Knowledge, in keeping with the tradition of practice what you preach, has turned a blind eye to this important detail.
People should really disclose things like this when they open their mouths in public. It’s just basic integrity and common sense (at least to me). It comes as no surprise that there’s a lot of funny business going on in corporate boardrooms. Who’s watching over the managers? Members of the board like this guy. Who’s training the next generation of managers? Same.
I could not agree with you more – appropriately put!
