Sometimes you just love it when two things you love the most – Baseball and IPod – come together almost naturally – just like a win to the Yankees on the opening day. The New York Times notes that Randy ‘Big Unit’ Johnson prepared for his Yankees debut listening to heavy metal music coming from a small speaker hooked to his iPod.
Whatever the Big Unit was listening to last night worked….forget all the bad things I had to say about him when he was piching for Seattle and Phoenix. And it was sure fun to boo David Wells in a miserable outing in a Red Sox unifom….Do the Sox let the Boomah blast Metallica bfore each game, as he was known to do when he was winning in the Bronx?
not sure what boomah did but he was not the same as he used to be. still nothing like randy johnson pitching like he did last night. wow! that was fun to watch – awesome is the only word that comes to mind.
