China ready for $2billion telecom shopping spree

China is going on a telecom spending binge, according to this report in China Daily. The amount of money involved is said to be around $2 billion, and it will be discussed in a visit to the US Chamber of Commerce. The spenders could be China Telecom and China Mobile and the likely beneficiaries could be Motorola, Intel, and Cisco.
