Enron founder Kenneth Lay died early Wednesday in Aspen, Colo. after a massive coronary. The 64-year-old was awaiting sentencing. He was found guilty on 10 counts of fraud and conspiracy related to the collapse of Enron amidst an accounting scandal. CNN Money has more details.
Strange.
Suicide?
Assasination?
Toxicology report please… but good poisons don’t leave traces.
He got off WAY too easy!
come on guys, you know we shouldn’t talk ill of the those who have passed. despite what they have done in the past. i have refrained from saying what i really thought of the man.
Thank you, Om. I’ve been made sick today by the number of bloggers and commenters willing to make light of someone’s death. Nothing is worse than death, Paul. Verdicts can be appealed. Inmates can get parole. There’s no second chances in the afterlife.
It is fair game to comment – Lay destroyed many lives and families by following his greed (with a bit of help from his friends).
If there is an afterlife, and if it is ruled by the christian god, his evilness will get him a good seat in a warm place.
What, you didn’t hear?
