Simply Hired and bunch of other small search engines came-up with the idea of scraping employee ads from company websites, and started aggregating them on their “vertical search” engine site, along with listings from other “job sites.” Now comes news that Yahoo’s Hot Jobs will do exactly the same. Ouch! Big question – will Yahoo scrape Monster and Craigslist? Even bigger question – if they are imitating the innovators, then does this mean the vertical search boomlet is already over! Meanwhile, Jobster has “consolidated’ with WorkZoo!
I don’t totally agree. I think yahoo offers much innovation for a company in their position.

And further to that. From a developer standpoint no one offers the flexibility from an API like Yahoo does. The google dev kit is a joke in comparison.
