Wall Street Journal picked up my post on “dark side of outsourcing” this morning and has carried a synopsis in their Work in Progress column online. There is an interesting array of comments. One of them says I am a coward who runs away. Well Cris, the facts are what they are. I don’t make them up. He alleges that I spoil India’s image. Not true – honest reporting is part of the discourse. Another asks me to throw away my green card and work for the $500 fortune. Well I don’t want, don’t need to. And I am frankly doing my job as a reporter who is actually going behind the hype. When I brought this issue up with some of the guys at NASSCOM, they also agrees and expressed concern.
