This will come as welcome news to all those playas who are sitting on boat load of fiber. Jupiter Research says that a typical home with a broadband connection and a wireless network currently need less than 3 Mbps of bandwidth, but that will catapult to 57 Mbps by 2009 with some geek-pads needing as much as 84 Mbps. The number of homes with wireless networks will increase from 7.5 mln this year to 34.3 mln in 2009.
