Old story, different paper. Wall Street Journal has put the really old Microsoft and Intel going after the living room story on the front page. Media Center PC this, McPC that. Well two words: Better PC?

These two companies have failed to come up with a simpler and easy to use and dependable PC, and now they want to get a foot into my living room – no thanks! I would like some embedded Linux with my PVR and no blue screen of death on my TV/DVD player. When I tried Media Center PC, audio did not match the video, the image quality was crappy, the damn thing crashed…well you get the story.
