Apparently there is an IPod backlash. Since I don’t read japlish (Its Bush time baby!) cannot speak for sure. However, another thing I noticed, the penguins on Wall Street are all hot and heavy about Apple, raising estimates and all. Over at Merrill Lynch, Steve Milunovich has called for a California styled landslide win for IPod sales next year. Sure, he might be right in actual sales data, but given the increased presence of pretenders in the market, Apple’s profit margins could take a serious hit. Why? It will have to spend a lot of money to fight off the me-too products. Also given that Apple tock is up nearly 150% this year, just wondering how high can it really go?
