Metro PCS files for IPO
Somehow I missed this one, but looks like small mobile carriers like Virgin, Boost Mobile and MetroPCS are hot enough for an IPO. Last week, MetroPCS Communications of Dallas filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering of common stock. MetroPCS is a provider of wireless communications services in the Miami, San Francisco, Atlanta and Sacramento markets. Its 2003 revenue totaled $459.5 million.
