* Cingular has just released Treo 650
Business 2.0: Like many other Treo fans, had been looking forward to the new 650. It boasted Bluetooth wireless, a much-improved screen, and a keyboard that was a delight to type on. Would it be worth dropping $600 less than a year after buying (and abandoning) the 600? Despite my familiarity with the 600’s buttons and keyboard, I found the learning curve on the new device was steep. For complete review go to Business 2.0 website.
Get a Sony-Ericsson P900/P910. It’s the best thing out there. It’s a phone first, then a web browser, then an organizer, then a… it does everything.
Just curious what your emailing was done with… I’ve been using the Treo 600 for a about 8 months and while I initially use Snapper, found ChatterEmail could handle push and background operations beautifully.
I am waiting and waiting on the GSM 650… looking forward to the better keyboard, screen, bluetooth and camera. Ok, the speed increase will be nice as well.
jonathan – i used the inbuilt email client and that was pretty good for me
Using the Treo 600 Form Fit Case lowers the effective screen sensitivity so that the “hit the ‘Hang Up’ key with your cheek while speaking” problem, is less of a problem. BTW, I’ve had no problems with mp3 music using P-Tunes.
