If Motorola had dealt with it’s clunky UI and form factor sooner it may have had a better showing in that market, which appeared, while I was there through 2001, obsessed with sexy, slim and small devices. Motorola phones always seemed to have been built without much consideration for the actual user. Think consumer not engineer.

  2. I attended the news conference. This phone will have a “Made in India” label.
    The “first” phone mfg in India.
    The modern bharat natyam dance performed by the hotties at the event was amazing.
    Stay tuned for an announcement for in-country mfg of “network infrastructure” equipment.
